(I catch a unique around every other day) Don't worry about the gold cost, catching 1 unique rainbow trout will reward you with 5 gold back. A lot of people say that the beetle (3rd one) works just as well. You aren't required to buy a specific one but I recommend the Rainbow Spinner (the one all the way on the right). Spinners: There are 4 different spinners you can choose from. A lot of people use different line, but I suggest staying at or above 4Lb line so you can get out of snags in Colorado. Suggested Loadout: I suggest a spinning rod (any will do) along with a spinning reel (again, up to your preference).
